Join us for our 16th Annual Power of Words Conference, with workshops, performances, talking circles, celebration, and more, featuring writers, storytellers, performers, musicians, community leaders, activists, educators, and health professionals. Learn more about the conference here.

Your registration includes all main conference events (workshops, keynote performances, receptions, etc.).

Lodging, meals, and pre-conference events are an additional charge and available for purchase upon registration.

Rate Schedule

Main Conference (members / non-members)

• Oct. - Nov. 30: Super Early Bird - $190
• Dec. 1 - July 11: Early Bird - $240 / $260
• July 12 - Sep. 27: Regular - $290 / $310
• Aug. 8: Last day for full refund, transfer, or credit, minus $20 processing fee
  
• Sept. 5: Last day for 75% refund, transfer, or credit, minus $20 processing fee (no refunds, transfers, or credits issued after this date)

Pre-Conference

Pre-Conference begins Thursday, September 26th with an evening performance, and continues with workshops from the keynoters all day Friday until the main conference begins with the Friday evening keynote. Learn more about the pre-conference on the schedule summary and workshop descriptions.

• Afternoon only (two 2-hour workshops): $80
• Morning only (one 2-hour workshop): $40
  

Lodging & Meals - PLEASE READ!

Upon registration, please book your room and meals. All rooms have a private bathroom and include three meals/day. A VERY limited number of single rooms are available -- if "Sold Out" is indicated, please choose a double room or see the Travel and Lodging page for off-site lodging options.

ALL RATES ARE FOR ONE PERSON. Both occupants in a double room must register separately and pay the double room rate (which is half the total cost of the double room). If second occupant is not attending conference, please use the "Room & Meals Only" registration type.

If you choose to stay off-site, we highly encourage you to purchase a commuter meal package so to enjoy the social time of meals all together.
