in Transformative Language Arts

The TLA Network is proud to offer the following training and certification programs in Tranformative Language Arts. Additionally, Goddard College offers a master's degree in TLA for those seeking study in higher education, and the TLA Network has a partnership with Goddard to benefit students who complete the TLA Foundations Certification.

TLA Foundations Certification

This certification is an introduction to TLA in theory and practice with opportunities for reflecting and acting on ethical work, community networking, and TLA in action.

Typically, people complete certification on their own time in about two years. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Right Livelihood Professional Training

Discover, clarify, and manifest the Transformative Language Arts work -- writing, storytelling, performing, coaching, facilitation, and more -- to follow your passion, earn a living income, and serve your community. Working with experienced teachers and participants as committed as you are, and guided by Right Livelihood -- the Buddhist term for doing work that serves your calling and community -- you’ll unearth and develop best practices for ethical paid work and community service, and craft a strategic business plan.

Begins June 7th, 2018 and ends October 12th, 2018

Goddard College MA in TLA

Goddard College offers a low-residency MA in Transformative Langauge Arts, drawing upon creative writing, storytelling, songwriting, drama, performance, as well as other forms of written and oral communication, that contribute to naming and honoring individual and community experience, perceptions, voice, and vision.
