2016 Underwriters

The mission of Goddard College is to advance cultures of rigorous inquiry, collaboration, and lifelong learning, where individuals take imaginative and responsible action in the world. Goddard’s low-residency semester format comprises an intensive 8-day residency on campus, and 16 weeks of independent work and self-reflection in close collaboration with a faculty advisor. The college offers BAs in Education, Health Arts and Sciences, Individualized Studies, Sustainability Studies; a BFA in Creative Writing; a BA/MA Fast-Track in Psychology and Counseling; MA degrees in Individualized Studies, Transformative Language Arts, Consciousness Studies, Social Innovation and Sustainability, Health Arts and Sciences, Psychology and Counseling, Educaiton; and MFAs in Interdisciplinary Arts and Creative Writing.

Sponsored by the National Permanente Medical Groups, The Permanente Journal is a peer-reviewed journal of medical science, social science in medicine, and medical humanities. Free full-text access is available online. The journal welcomes submissions from all disciplines related to medicine. The journal has wide readership, with 25,000 print readers per quarter, 6900 eTOC readers, and in 2015, 1.4 million page views on TPJ articles in PubMed from a broad international readership

For over thirty years, Broadreach Family & Community Services has provided educational, health and social service programs for the residents of Waldo, Knox, and Lincoln Counties in Maine. Broadreach supports adults and youth building skills and resources needed for self-sufficiency, resiliency, productivity and health through home and community-based services; prepares young children for a lifetime of learning and success with high-quality early childhood education, early intervention, and childcare programs; assists youth in gaining positive life skills through focused enrichment programs and meaningful community and school-based activities; and nurtures the healthy development of children, families and communities with a comprehensive array of family-focused programs and services.
