“The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice; and because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there’s little that we can do to change, until we notice how failing to notice changes our thoughts and deeds.”
This course helps you to deepen the appreciation of language as the key tool that can cause a shift in thinking, behavior, and our in perceptions of the world. In this course, we connect language, body and emotions as an integrated whole that helps us to live purposefully and to empower others. It will help us to notice the stories we tell others and ourselves, helping you to get better at empowering yourself and others.
Take a journey into the interior landscape of your mind and acquire tools and resources for going deeper into the Self to understand how words can unleash the dynamic energy to power up our lives and the lives of others. Through an exploration of the stories we tell ourselves, we will be able to understand how we can transform our language to get us closer to our goals and to help others achieve theirs.
The course will include insightful stories and the words of great motivational speakers as well as integrated short films (five to eight minutes each) that encourage awe and help us demonstrate tools for the language of empowerment. The course provides a foundation for the elegant use of language to power up our lives and the lives of those we touch. Whether you are a personal coach interested in reflecting more intentionally on your use of language, a teacher, nurse, pastor, or parent, this course will help you to deepen in your work of encouraging and empowering others to be their best.
