If you're reading this, it is likely that you believe that the mission of your organization is one that embraces the same vision of connection and empowerment that is the foundation of the Transformative Language Arts Network and our Power of Words Conference. That event — held every other year — explores and celebrates how writing, storytelling, performance and more can be used to help, heal, and build community. At the end of October 2012, the next conference will be held at Pendle Hill, near Philadelphia, and we would love to have you as a co-sponsor.
We know that financial times are tough these days, and so we are asking organizations and individuals to consider co-sponsoring the event via donations on a sliding scale between $30 – $50. For this small donation we will include your organization’s information on our website (a description of your work and website) and in all print materials at the event this fall. Each and every one of the following options is available for your donation:
- a logo as a file that you can send to be included (along with links and text description) in printed registration handouts packets
- a logo as a file to be included (along with links and text description) on our site
- paper materials mailed to me via post to arrive by Wednesday Oct. 24, and then put in registration packets
- file (8 1/2 x 11) mailed to me via attachment then printed and put in registration packets.
All donations must be received by Oct. 19 to be included in materials for the conference. We ask you to spread news of the event among your own network(s), through facebook, email, web, blog, print, and/or in-person communication.
