As Artist in Residence you will find her practicing her expressive process, and she will provide opportunities for you to create through word/art experiences. She her art blog here.
I understand and respond to the world through sketching and writing in illustrated sketch journals. People and their stories delight me. I enjoy capturing the gesture of a quick moment as well as observing slowly. The landscape — with its colors, lines and forms — becomes a form of meditation. I love discovering the marvels that reveal themselves as I draw and write, whether the subject is an everyday object or a magnificent scene.
Adding writing, in French and in English, to my sketches enables me to make connections, to learn more about what is before me as well as within my mind and heart. Moments in my life becoming expanded and are preserved to be enjoyed again.
My professional work over the years has nurtured my art and my life. I currently love devoting more time to drawing and painting, and I enjoy sharing my original art by and showing and selling it.
